I'm coming here via MS Internet Explorer V6 and navigating
around here is difficult.

Is there a better newsreader around that I can use?
Hopefully, good quality shareware.

There used to be some very good packages around in the Win
3.1 days.

Thanks

You could try the text based newsgroup reader.

It is takes a bit of setup on your part.

There is a decent newsreader included with Outlook Express (not outlook, but
outlook express). You have likely used Outlook Express (OE) before, and thus
will find the newsreader quite reasonable.

You will need to contact your ISP for the newsgroup settings. But, I would
give OE a try, and it is inlucded your browser download....I would give it a
try.

Outlook Express which you have is very good. It has all the features of the
other free programs and most of the features of the paid versions of those
free ones.

Hate to argue, Albert, but I don't believe it's necessary to contact an ISP.
You can link directly to the Microsoft server msnews.microsoft.com

I just started using Mozilla Thunderbird. It's FREE, and seems to have
all the features that News Wolf and Agent have after you pay for the them.

Mozilla Thunderbird is easy to set up and use. And did I mention it is
FREE???
