I recently tried to install something on my laptop running
windows xp professional and it gave me the folling error
stopping the process:
'C:\temp\(target folder where install is putting temp
files)\_IsRes.dll' could not be installed. The system
cannot find the specified file.

This happens when ever I try to install or uninstall
something that uses the InstallShield wizard and completely
prevents me from installing or uninstalling almost everything.

Does anyone know why this would suddenly start happen and
how to fix it?

Thanks for the link, but I looked at the sites and couldn't
find anything that said how to fix the problem. Was there
a specific link that was useful that I just missed?
