Hello,
I've found that having __COMPAT_LAYER=EnableNXShowUI in my environment
leads to undesired behaviour (in particular with the MKS toolkit's
korn shell). This environment is apparently getting set for
explorer.exe at login by a registry setting:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
\AppCompatFlags\Layers]
I've removed this setting but it seems to come back every once in a
while. Does anyone know what program sets this?
Thanks,
-Peter
