99 99 99 . . . on boot

I was in the midst of installing Service Pack 4 to Windows 2000 Professional
and the system "hung" for approx. 15 minutes during the Inspection
iniaitaliztion of the upgrade. When I rebooted, I get about 10 lines of 99
99 99 99 99 etc. This appears write after the ok to boot form CD-rom
question. I tried the Repair consile FIXBOOT but nothing changed,

Does it appear when "not" booting from the CD?
