9800xt powercolor power cable

Hi,
I have lost the power cable of my radeon 9800xt powercolor in a move.
Does anybody know if this "extension cable" could replace it:

[First of One]

The only time the power cable should be used is if you don't have a spare
4-pin lead from the power supply to plug directly into the card. In that
case, the "extension cable" will work just fine.

It's a pretty generic cable, and $13 is a lot to pay for it. Feel free to
buy it from a different place for less:

They told me at Fry's that there is not way to buy an ATI Radeon power
cable alone. They are only sold with the cards.
Did they just try to make be buy a new card?

Does the 4-pin power connector on your card look like the one on the ATi
reference board?

If so, then any 4-pin Molex extension cable will work. The Fry's employees
simply aren't knowledgeable.
