I just bought a 9800 non pro at circuit city for $199 and in the display
properties and driver tabs it's being displayed as a Pro, did I really get a
pro? how can I be sure which card it is?

Get Rage 3D Tweak (Google search) and check the default clock speeds. If
Tweak shows 324 GPU/290 Ram, then you have a non-Pro.

The truth is out there. You just have to look in the right places and ask
the right questions.

That's the same with my 9800NP; it shows up as a Pro. Download something
like PowerStrip that will show the memory and GPU speeds to confirm
Pro/nonPro.
