9800 pro vs AIW 9800 pro

Specs say the 9800 is HDTV compliant and has an s-video connector...I am
mainly interested in making DVD's from old VHS tapes. Am I better off
getting the 9800 pro and buying a video capture device like a Dazzel 90
or getting the AIW 9800 pro? Would I be able to capture from a vcr
directly with the AIW or would I still need another device. Watching tv
on the computer is not a big thing with me. Thanks for your help.
system will support either card....

I would go with the 9800 pro and capture card, then in the near future
you can replace 9800 pro when you need more power and still keep your
capture card.

BTW: the AIW can capture from vcr or any external source using s-vhs, phono
etc..
