Another one

This time its driver related, i upgraded my drivers and it went downhill from there, i was running Omega drivers then the other day they released new versions, i downloaded it when i booted up a game the screen went into a right mess, sometimes the card will fail to respond to AGP commands or something :(

I used rollback to go to the old drivers and its still the same, so i uninstalled all the drivers and used the latest Cat's and its still the same :(

At the moment im running the latest omega drives and its still the same :( and i really dont know what to do as ive just bought some new games and cant play them.

Is your card overclocked at all?

When you installed the new drivers, you did't absent mindedly select a wrong option did you? they offer advanced options that could send things a bit crazy.

Try turning Fast Writes off, or if they are off, on!

Just a thought...

Hope this gets sorted

why would fast write affect this?

uninstall the omega drivers rather than rolling back.

failing that try a system restore.

this is the prob with installing unofficial drivers

Because i have seen FastWrites affect some computers.

there is no harm in trying, and i have had no problems with any omega drivers.

no there's no harm in trying, i was simply wondering how it can cause that effect? a technical explanation, being a technically minded person i like proof behind the theory.

and although you haven't experienced any problems with omega drivers doesn't mean that other config's won't.
