9800 Pro - Halo issue

Anyone had any luck running Halo smoothly with he 9800 Pro 128mb card?

Tried everything noted on the MS site and elsewhere...jerky as hell.

P4 2.4 and 1gb memory with SB Live.
 
Had no problem myself, I used to run it on a system slightly faster than
yours (2.4Ghz AthlonXP, 1GB RAM and Audigy 2) with a 9800 Pro with
little problem.

Only major difference is the processor, probably thats the problem,
AthlonXP provide much more "bang for the buck (or in this case MHz)"
than P4 ever did.
