9800 pro AND P4G8X-DELUXE?????

for the life of me i cant understand this ! i posted on asus with no
help. i cannot get it work with this mobo? 1.7 volts all is correct it
will not post with this vidio card but will with a 9700 pro? im really
confused i even tried another 9800 pro.any help greatly appriciated!

i thought that so i went out and got a 550 watt antec and still nothing.
ive been building gameing machines for a while and have never run across
this.

Will it post if you plug the power connector into the card a second or
two after you turn on the main power?

and will it post with the bios set on failsafe defaults? .. if not
suggests bad card.

this is the 2nd card and i am useing it know on my p4c800 deluxe 3.2
extreme machine i took the second and put it in my athlon machine, and
put the geforce 4600 ultra in the p4g8x machine. so its not bad

and the failsafe defaults in the bios?
