98 & XP pro, now XP's not acccesible???

All of a sudden a couple of days ago on my network I can't
access 2 of my XP machines from the 98 machines....have
not changed any settings or anything....netbios is enabled
on the XP machines as well as having simple file sharing
on, etc....I can access the 98 machine from the XP
machines but not the inverse...what the f*^% is going
on!!!!!....I've tried everything I learned in my MCSE
class but cannot figure this one out....am I forgetting
something like an idiot or is it something more...help me
come to the conclusion that I'm not missing something or
am having a serious brain fart

particularly the last paragraph in the chapter "Access methods,
access rights or passwords not properly set".
