9700 Tv out problem

Hi,

Just purchased a dell sytem which came with a 9700 TX graphics card. It has
Tv out but now I have come to use it the picture on the tv is Black and
white and there is no sound. Any ideas?

I have downloaded the latest driver from the dell support website but still
no joy.

Sound would have to come on a separate cable.

What type of cable are you using to plug the video into the TV? Could it
be loose? That could make a black & white picture...
 
I have the same problem! I believe that the 9700 cable that came with it
needs to be used,it seems to have an extra few pins(the one that goes into
the card....the only problem is that i have to get a converter from the
end(male to female)to fit it into the tv/in cable...they should have
included one....

You don't have the right TV region selected and TV out doesn't have
sound.
