9600 XT in the UK

Has anyone got any ideas for high street stores in the UK that have the 9600
XT in stock (maybe give me a price too). No PC World stores seem to have it
and I can't seem to find anywhere else that stock it other than online
stores.

Prefer Norwich or Cambridge areas if possible!

You should hang your head in shame for even thinking about buying something
from PC World. My branch recently had GF2 bare cards in plastic bubble wrap
for 'bargain' £79 each.

Why don't you buy online? Try www.microdirect.co.uk they have the joint
lowest prices on XTs that I've seen. Prices like that will never be matched
by retail stores even taking delivery costs into account.

Or http://www.overclockers.co.uk looks even better , not sure about
deliver charges though. If you really dont want to buy online you could ask
your friendly independent pc store to order you one, but its unlikely you
will get it at those prices (and you shouldnt expect to) plus delivery could
be days or weeks. If you buy online you can have it delivered overnight.
Byron, what are your reasons for not buying online ?

they haven't any instock at the moment so I personally went to Overclockers
so that I could get it before the new year. - cost me 8 squid more but I
have asked for next day delivery, so I should get mine today!!!

Savastore.com have a retail outlet unit in Luton, so you could pick one up
there once they are in stock - give them a call.

Thanks all

Ordered it from Oveclockers - thought my credit card wouldn't arrive this
week but did (thats why I was looking in stores as only had cash at the
time!).

Is it an easy to install card
 
Well I guess everyones experience is different but I upgraded my Asus 9800xt
from my Geforce 1. Just uninstalled the detonators, swaped the cards and
installed the Catalysts. Worked first time, couldnt have been easier IMHO.
