On ATI web site is states Dual VGA support - what does that mean? Are there
2 monitor connectors on the card? the picture does not show that

yes, there are two vga connectors.

It is a purple break out box to allow S-Video in. I can't figure out
what you're really trying to find out.

I haven't seen a picture of it yet and was wondering if it was sold separately,
or WITH the AIW9600 box at no extra expense. Is it only S-Video in? Are there
other connectors that plug into the break-out box? Does the break-out box plug
into the purple connector on the card?
 
I just got an AIW9600pro last night. The purple break out box you are
referring to can connect to svideo or composit (yellow video) in. It also
has L & R audio inputs on it. And it's included in the box, along with the
output dingle which also connects to the card.
