Hi,

I have set up Windows XP64 as a dual-boot option on my PC, mainly so I
can stitch large scans. It would be nice to scan in XP64 as well rather
than switch between operating systems. Vuescan loads OK but will not
recognise my Nikon 9000, so I assume the driver has to be present. The
supplied version of Nikonscan (4.0.2) does not seem to be compatible
with XP64. I have looked at the Nikon site but there does not seem to be
a more recent version.

Any suggestions?

thanks

This is from www.hamrick.com , windows release notes, "If you're not using
one of the above scanners, and if you're using Windows 2000, XP, x64 or
Vista and you don't want to install the software from the manufacturer, you
can use the driver in c:\vuescan (scanners.inf). This driver will work with
most scanners. There's no need to install ASPI to use SCSI scanners." It
may or may not work for you.
