900 AIW pro still good enough to purchase?

Just curious, as the features still warrant a pretty nice card IMO.. What
are people's thoughts on the AIW 9000pro?

It is an aged card. Basically it is a shrunk AIW8500, a DX8 card. But
although both has 4 pipelines, AIW8500's pipeline can process 3 texels at a
time while AIW9000Pro can do only one. That is 12 vs. 4. Better buy a DX9
card like AIW9600pro.

It all comes down to the price you will pay and the performance you
expect.

I have the AIW Radeon 7500 and it's a pretty good card. It's plays
recent games with a half-decent speed. So the 9000 should be even
better. I'd say it's probably good enough to play recent games, but
not good enough if you're one of those people who needs insane frame
rates like 100-200 fps.
