8X DVD Writer suggestions?

I'm looking to get an 8X DVD Writer. I saw a couple that looked good,
one by Plextor and one by HP.

Anyone here have any experiences or feedback on them?

Also any tips on what to look for? Alot of them have +rw -rw etc. What
is all that? Thanks for the input.

Are there any besides the Plextor and some cheap generic one I think
is made by BTC or someone like that? I havent seen any. Obviously Id
get the Plextor if I had the money. But there is this really cheap one
going around sold under a variety of names. I saw it selling as a
Nu-tek I think for $158 super cheap for an 8x. Of course you wonder
how good it is with various media .

Sony has the new DRU-530 which will burn 8x as well...about $75 less than
the Plextor.
