88 mm to DVD

I tried copying my 88mm to the computer through movie maker 2 then to the DVD through Drag'n Drop. It seemed to work but I can not read the DVD in any other computer or TV DVD player. Now it seems that I need to convert thye files to mpeg or some other format so that other systems can read it. Does anyone know how to do this?

I take it that would be an 8mm capture to DV, not 88mm!

You need third party burning software to create a VCD, SVCD or DVD... see
