I've been thinking about buying a radeon on ebay. Do you think this is a

Not Really. I have one and would not spend that much to buy another one. It
is a nice card, but, if you saved the shipping and a few more dollars over
the time it would take to receive it you could have a reasonably priced,
recent card, that would outperform the 8500, easily. $25 + shipping would be
fair...
