811493 MS03-013: Buffer Overrun in Windows Kernel Message
Handling Could Lead to Elevated Privileges

Everytime I have downloaded this file from Microsoft my
computer starts to randomly freeze. And I mean FREEZE!
Control, Alt, Delete does nothing. Actually I have NO
choice but to manually push the reset button on my CPU. I
know this is the file because after I spent 2 weeks on
the phone with Tech support and formatting my computer 37
times(only way to fix the problem) I came to the
conclusion that it was a software problem. So I
systematically started downloading one update at a time
and found that this particular file is causing me so much
grief. I am sure that i don't need this file BUT it is
bundled with other files that I don't have. I have not
figured out how to remove this file from it's bundle.
Could someone help? Any help at this point would be
greatly appreciated. Plus I have made a MULTITUDE of
attempts to try and get a response from Microsoft but
they don't answer emails or return calls. Thanks

This started back in May when the original download was
first released. People had problems with it and
MS "fixed" the problems, relisted it and it still didn't
work on my computer. My computer still freezes. I
downloaded the one that you suggested, guess what? I can
add another format history to my headache!!!!
