I've just found a few CD's of music from the 80's & 90's that i thought i had lost.
Seems some of it still sounds cool, well ok it does to me & brings back a few great memories.:D

Must be good quality cd's if they have lasted 30 years.

I've still got some 2unlimited CDs that must be about 15 years old now - not listened to them for a while though

Chesney Hawkes is still going round universities after all this time too ;)

There are just some things inlife i'd rather not admit to people...

In my humble opinion....

The eighties were crap, all big hair, overblown productions and synthesisers. I mean, come on - New Romantic? Wham? What was that all about?

The Nineties, on the other hand (imo) produced some superb music, especially dance music.

I think decades alternate:

Sixties - Superb

Seventies - Embarrassing

Eighties - El Crapola

Nineties - Excellent

Noughties - The Jury's still out

Couldn't agree more. :thumb:

Am I right in thinking "Superb" beats "Excellent"? The best era for music is always the one you "grew up" in IMO. Although I really do like some of Gershwin's stuff.

Nineties was great, as for the Nouthties, I hope the Jury comes back in and finds "The Ting Tings" guilty of something..What the F are they all about..?
But there are one or two bands that I lie..

lol I agree with you except the I reckon the 80's produced some amazing music.
You can't knock a bit of culture club, Spandau Ballet, Tears for fears or Phill Collins once in a while.

then there is Sade!!! :)

90's were brilliant I love most types of music one minute it'll be smooth operator and the next...

check this 90's tune out:
