I have an Dell Inspiron E1705 with Vista Ultimate and the Dell Wireless 1500
Draft N card. Router is a Linksys WRT300N Version 1.0 and the latest
drivers and firmware are loaded on both systems.
Approximately once each day, I lose the connection to the router for about
10 to 30 minutes. If I open the Dell WLAN utility I see the router in the
Site Monitor, but if I go to the Vista connect to a wireless network panel,
the router isn't there (others are). This happened last night and I had the
notebook within 1 foot of the router. This is also the only N router in the
vicinity. I live in a condo and can pick up G signals from 3 or 4 other
routers.
I've removed and reinstalled the 1500 software (last update was dated
3/26/2007) a few times. But this problem keeps reoccurring. I also have a
Bluetooth internal controller (Dell TrueMobile 350) and my Logitech MX1000
Laser Mouse will freeze up for a few seconds periodically too.
Any insights?
