These days wireless networking comes in at least 2 forms, which is the above where 'x' denotes 'a' 'b' 'g' and 'g+'.

I am afraid to admit that I am not very clear of these jargons. What are the differences advantages, disadvantages, etc.?

If you are going to setup a wireless home networking, which of the 'x' will you be looking at and why?

cheers,
=dant=

a: VERY SLOW (i cant remember the exact speed)
b: Poor range, 11MB/s
g: 54MB/s, good range
Pre-N: (cant remember speed) amazing range
