I agree :thumb: have just bookmarked that on the XP PC for easy reference in case of Vista crashes :D

Sorry folks, but I deleted that particular link, Vista crash recovery article, as it has an ad.flow redirect ... a potential nastie. :(

Not sure, but I would guess, PCStats are not aware of the malicious redirect ... I'll email them, though it may be better coming from Ian also.

:(

What's a ad.flow redirect :o Once I know what it is I'll drop them an e-mail :thumb:

Ian, they are called, adflow dot com, look at any good Host's list and you'll see 'em blocked. ;)

Dunno how they got on PCStats but Haute Secure went ballistic blocking them, and not just one, but several ... as I said, I can only assume they are a malicious redirect from an add ... getting far too common these days.

Thanks for the info Mucks, I'll read up on it now

Just a little update for you all ...

I have confirmed with PCStats that there was a little hiccup, NOT malicious, but an annoying redirected popup that should not have happened.

It will take a wee while for Max to sort the little incident, normal service will resume ASAP.

My thanks to Max at PCStats for replying & fixing the matter so promptly. :thumb:

And does it mean that it is now safe to use the previously bookmarked one please?
