Does anyone know what the power of a 7600 GT is compared to my 6800 GT is?

im not sure by how much but its gonna be better for the high resolutions

7600 =120 watts

6800 = 65 watts

Now that's some power. ;)

He's having problems with Elder Scrolls on his 6800 ... :p

That'll teach 'im to get his hands on it first ... :D

Surely the 6800 should handle it?

I have one and it aint had any problems with anything its come across so far. Altho I guess it does depend on the manufacturers clock speeds

You got me.
the 6800 gt performs rather well, but im looking for a little more power. :)

Yes I agree Alf they are good. Altho I knw what you mean by power too. Just upgraded mine and putting my 6800 in a secondary system with my 3200 when i upgrade next week

reviews of new nvidia card dont show my 6800 GT anymoree, so im finding it hard to compare cards. its a same really

They seem to be about 25% quicker from what I've read. I couldn't find a a direct comparison, so I just looked at Doom3/HL2 figures from previous card tests and compared 'em with figures from 7800gt tests.
Having said that - a 6800gt should run ES, at reasonable resolutions and detail.
