should I get a PC with a CDRW/DVDRW and an internal 750mb zip?
i have a 100mb zip now, but the 750mb doesnt accept the 100mb disks, correct?

how would a price of an internal ZIP 750mb drive and 26 750mb zip disks compare
to a single 20gb ext.drive?

or is ZIP as dead as Jaz and Syquest?

I believe the ZIP 750 will read 100MB disks. Depending on your needs, an
external USB2 CDRW may be a better alternative at about the same cost, ~ $90
USD

The main issue to me is they are ONLY readable in another system that has a
750Mb zip. A cdrw is readable on any PC made in the last 10 years.

You would be able to buy 4 or 5 20gb drives for the price of your
zip750+media. The size too close to a CDRW for it to even be a
consideration. If you want zips, stick with the 100s
