7200rpm 2.5" harddisk

So hard to find these days.. why? Got problems? There are plenty of
5400rpm though.

They cost you battery time, since they draw more power (and there

In my experience the difference in battery life is very small, like 2 or
3 percent. Then again, the difference in performance isn't all that
revolutionary, either.

I really hope flash takes over within a few years.

My cousin asked me to buy him a Hitachi 7200rpm 80G 2.5" disk in Hong
Kong. I wonder how much it costs in USA....

Would the US custom allow harddisk be taken into her territory through
an airport?

From the datasheet I deduce they take up to one Watt more, which would
mean a loss of 10% battery lifetime on my laptop. Not that much,
agreed.
I really hope flash takes over within a few years.

Unlilely, at least if you run a memory/disk-hog like Windows.
