i am using windows XP pro, i have a creative modem blaster 56k modem. i
connect to the internet and everything is fine, but after 7 hours i get
disconnected. my computer will just stop reciving data and it will
disconnect. it only happens at 7 hours (not 7 exactly, there is about 2 or 3
minutes variation, but never more) this never happend before, it didnt start
untill i got a dedicated computer line, that same day i did a reformat and
reinstall, i installed every critical update and service pack, and then i
noticed this problem. im wondering if its my modem itself, the modem drivers
(im using the generic drivers that windows autodetected) my phone line, or
my ISP... any thoughts?

We had a similar problem and it turned out that it was our Internet
Provider that was limiting our access. Give them a call.
