Where can I buy a retail version of 64 bit windows?
Im building my own pc with an AMD 64 CPU. I cannot have it
preinstalled and I dont want to pay $2000 some off dollars
for MSDN network. Help!

Hi Todd
I'm not aware of a preview version being made available outside of the MSDN
channels. At the moment the AMD64 version of Windows XP is still in
development, so there is not a final retail version to buy. You might want
to give Microsoft a call and inquirer about a preview.

Greetings --

Microsoft has not yet released a WinXP 64-bit that works on the
AMD CPU.

For now just put another OS on it. Microsoft has not yet released a 64bit
version of the AMD 64. But the AMD 64 will still have 32bit versions of
Windows.

Not released yet. When it is, expect to pay through the nose for it.. It
won't be inexpensive. You want to play you got to pay!

Sorry, you can't. The only 64-bit version released so far works
only with the Intel Itanium provcessor. The AMD version is not
yet available.
