Hi i was searching the web about 64 bit windows xp pro and got
interested in it.
but my main concern was about the games that can be played on it.

does anyone know what games can be played on it or is there a list of
all the games
that can be played on Win XP Pro 64 bit.

I have some 32 bit games, will they play on the 64 bit windows?

I'm going to usually one new stuf and with there new drivers. like
nvidia 9800 gtx 4 gigz of ram E8400 those will be some specs i would
be using.

Would Windows office 2007 just work on it or do i have to look for the
64 bit one?

thank you for all your trouble

If you're considering moving to 64-bit might I suggest going to Windows
Vista 64-bit instead. Windows XP x64 support was weak enough while it was
current, but now it very much is on the back burner.

The vast majority of my games work fine on 64-bit. There are a few ones to
take note of - and the vast majority of those are caused by copy protection.
The only one in my library effected was Silent Hunter 3, as it used
StarForce protection, I understand some of the Splinter Cells games also use
the same technology.

Going forward, with Windows Vista at least any game which has the 'Games for
Windows' logo is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit.

Office 2007 works fine on 64-bit. The vast majority of things work fine as
64-bit Windows can run 32-bit Windows application in 32-bit mode. It's only
things that need drivers, or things that dig deep into the system you need
to watch out for like anti-virus.

There is a crack at gamecopyworld for SH3 that allows you to play the game
without any Starforce. Do not try to run the game until you complete this
process or else Starforce will try to install. You install the game and
appy the patch, then have the files in the crack overwrite the files in SH3
folder. Now play the game with no disk needed and no Starforce.

If you're switching operating systems like that, you should really do a bit
of background search first. I personally don't see any difference between
the 32 bit and the 64 bit. Windows Help's FAQ on the different goes as
follows:

---

What is the difference between 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows?

The terms 32-bit and 64-bit refer to the way a computer's processor (also
called a CPU), handles information.
The 64-bit versions of Windows can utilize more memory than 32-bit versions
of Windows. This helps minimize the time spent swapping processes in and out
of memory by storing more of those processes in Random access memory (RAM)
rather than on the hard disk. This, in turn, can increase overall program
performance.
