Why when i try and download the 64Bit Windows Vista Beta 2 for the public off
the website it is only 13.7mb full it has been like this ever since it was
realeased to the public is it going to be corrected.

Order the dvd. The servers are overloaded. MS has been posting a
red-letter warning on the download page requesting users to order the dvd.

i dont want to order the cd i want to download it the file size being 13.7mb
has nothing to do with the servers being overloaded it is because the 64 bit
file has not been put on the server proberly and i want to know when it is
going to get resolved

Use the downloader Active X control. Same thing here. Right-click and save
as and it's only 13 or 14 MB. But as I type I'm downloading the whole thing
with the download manager. A lot of fuss when's all they need do is fix the
bloody link or redirect if the servers are overloaded.

HOw did you get it to download the whole thing?

There is nothing wrong with the .ISO images on
the servers. The problem is too many people
trying to download the files. The servers are
OVERLOADED!!!

If you find a Download Manager and use it,
you'll have a better chance of getting a full,
uncorrupted download.

Your other option is to order a copy to be sent
by mail. I ordered on June 8th and I received
my package today.

The links at the right on the page are direct. But the one's to the left are
the downloader links. Click on those.

I had the same problem trying to download the Vista x64 with Internet
Explorer. When I tried Mozilla Firefox, the file was reported being the
correct length, but when they download finished I found it was corrupt. I
went back to Internet Explorer and used to the download manager and that
solved the problem. Ordering the DVD would not be such a bad idea either now
that Microsoft is having trouble with download bandwith.
