I just now loaded version 5729 without any problem. Have
been running since January I think. Found a few items on
the very first run, nothing since

The update 5729 (in v614) doesn't stick in the program and gets downloaded
over and over again, even if it shows as downloaded and installed.
I'll try to reboot to see if it solves the issue, but it was not like that
in the past.

What I described in my past message is not solved.
There's no more downloading of new defs but the one I have is 5727.
The system tried to update to 5729 yesterday, but that update failed.
Is there something I can do?
Thanks for your help.

Steffo has brought this to us :
What I described in my past message is not solved.
There's no more downloading of new defs but the one I have is 5727.
The system tried to update to 5729 yesterday, but that update failed.
Is there something I can do?

Install MSAS again and choose upgrade, worked for me.
Before this second upgrade, "on top install" it was impossible
to upgrade to 5729.

I'm seeing the same thing. Apparently the AutoUpdate function is not
updated properly. My Help/About shows 5729, but Check for Updates results
in reupdating the same defs over and over.

An Error Log entry:
91::Object variable or With block variable not
set::Updates:LatestRulesetVersionID::30::6/26/2005 11:59:47 AM

Yes, now that's happening to me too, so I guess someone is trying to fix it
but the problem comes out in another different way.
In fact, the latest is: defs are 5729 (the latest), but when you check for
updates the system wants to d/l and install that again, it says d/l and
installation OK, but if you check for updates it's doing it again.
