Hi All,
I have a box filled with half dollars that are from the 1960s and 1970s.
Before I wrap them and take them to my bank I was wondering if they were
worth anymore then 50cents? Some of them have 2 dates on them. 1776-1976.

I also have my dads old coin collection but don't know how to sell it with
out getting ripped off. As you can tell by my post I am not a collector.
Any information is appreciated.

And how does your question relate to Windows Vista? Are you perhaps in the
wrong newsgroup?

His question is more relevant to Ubuntu than to this forum. Since Ubuntu is
a piece of crap, you might as well ask about coins!

If your asking for money you are in the correct group.
Linux users are always begging for handouts.

You'll have to wait your turn though.

*ROTFLM* Classic!

Clue Spermio telling us that Gnome Developers do not solicit handouts
only to be pointed to the first item on their home page ... asking for
money.

Clearly you don't understand the distinction between a developer
and a user. You've completely twisted the situation around as usual...

I got it. Developers develop a useless OS they call Ubuntu. They try to
market Ubuntu and give it away. Now we go to the user. The users think,
"Wow, Dude, a FREE OS". Once they download the OS they realize that it's
crap and remove it from their PC.

You got it alright. Backwards. It's Vista I would not want.

be in the Ubuntu forum. Please make the correction.

Obviously some Lemming genius thougth it would be a good idea
to crosspost nonsense...

Exactly!

Which is why after 17+ years of being free, Linux still hasn't managed to
crack the 1 percent of desktop use figure.

People are willing to spend money on Vista, or switch to Mac rather than
punish themselves using free Linux.

When something is free and the competition is expensive yet the free
product can't seem to gain market share, then something is very, very wrong
with the free product.

That product is Linux.

They asked Chris Ahlstrom to leave the Ubuntu forum because they got tired
of his incessant lying and posting "me too" replies to Roy Schestowitz's
SPAM.

Wrong.

Newsgroups: microsoft.public.windows.vista.general,comp.os.linux.advocacy
Please make the correction.

Why? Just because you prefer Vista is no reason for you to say garbage
such as:

You're having trouble with the truth aren't you.

Not in the least.

By the way, I don't use Ubuntu, but Debian. It makes a great 64-bit
operating system with plenty of 64-bit drivers and apps.

Our [softball] team usually puts the other woman at second base, where the
maximum possible number of males can get there on short notice to help out
in case of emergency. As far as I can tell, our second basewoman is a pretty
good baseball player, better than I am, anyway, but there's no way to know
for sure because if the ball gets anywhere near her, a male comes barging
over from, say, right field, to deal with it. She's been on the team for
three seasons now, but the males still don't trust her. They know, deep in
their souls, that if she had to choose between catching a fly ball and saving
an infant's life, she probably would elect to save the infant's life, without
ever considering whether there were men on base.

You do realize that there are now more linux distros than actual users?
You did known that right?

They all know that.

COLA is now comprised of about 5 so called Linux "advocates" who lie for
Linux 24x7.

All the serious Linux advocates have left the group years ago, mostly due
to a mad commercially driven SPAMMER named Roy Schestowitz.

Oh? Ahhh...so on one hand your linturds claim it's impossible to measure
market share and now on the other hand you dispute my post based on
what?...hearsay?
Well...which is it?
Fact or fiction?

hhehehehehhehe!

The Linux loons are always shifting their arguments.
The problem is, they always lose.

Ho ho ho. You are so funny.

It's a fact that you're a worthless twit.

Free advice: Grow up. Until then...

*plonk*

Once again the Linturd can't answer the questions.

...of course it has nothing to do with most of that 17+ years actually
being spent creating Linux.
People are willing to spend money on Vista, or switch to Mac rather than
punish themselves using free Linux.

OTOH, the Mac was fully formed 25 years ago.

What took them so long?
