6.1 messenger update

Hi Those in the know, I have been surfing around and came
accross an update for 6.1 messenger.

Its called "Messenger Plus 2.50" released 28th Oct 03.

I believe its not a windows update, does any one use it
and would they recomend it?

I am one of the lucky ones that has had no problem's what
so ever changing over from 4.7 which I under stand
Windows is now doing away with it?

If thet are then maybe they will update it for us? Is it
best to leave well alone in this instance?
 
Messenger Plus is an add on (not by Microsoft) for MSN or Windows messenger.
It adds some (cosmetic?) features to messenger. I have been using version
2.21.55, it integrates quite well with Windows messenger 4.7and MSN
messenger 6.1.
As far as I know Microsoft is not phasing out Windows messenger 4.7 although
there is a version 5. MSN messenger 6.1 is a separate program.
