Numbers numbers numbers ... :D

Probably the slowest software segment to adopt multi-threading is the gaming segment. For the most part, many game developers are finding it very difficult to code games to truly take advantage of multiple threads. It has been more than a year since dual-core processors came into retail and only a handful of games even support threading, and honestly none of those exploit the processor power that is there.
And I think it hilarious that "gamers" are the first to go buy the latest greatest this-n-that ... and then wonder why their game don't work.

Still, by the time I get a dual-core (AMD) I may have found a game I like to play. :p

I is annoying that even with something as WCG, you "need" some extra memory to run the program ... at one time we could use an old 486 with Linux and crunch on ... what a waste. :(

One day, software will have caught up ... one day. ;)
