hello, i am tryin to instal windows vista feb ctp
whenever i attemp to install it i get error that it needs 431mb of free
space in any drive for temp files
i've 2GB free space on C, windows xp sp2 in it,
and clean partition 16GB
its the same 431mb needed even when i free more space in C and other
partitions

the error message:
Setup has detected that there is not enough free space on any partition for
setup to put the temporary files.
Error code is [0x800700001]. Approximately [431MB] of free space is required
for setup to continue.

Try copying the contents of the DVD you burned the ISO onto, onto a seperate
folder on the desktop. Try then running the installation file from there -
you'll notice the initial setup actually going faster that way as well.

I think the problem here, is that sometimes Setup actually tried to install
on the DVD your setup files are on, and because it's a closed DVD, it can't
be written onto :o) That's my guess on it anyway...
