500 Internal Server Error

I have both VS2002 and VS2003 installed on the same
machine with IIS. In VS2002 I can create a new web
application , but when I try in VS2003 I get an error
stating "500 Internal Server Error".
 
Check to see if your default website is setup as an Application root.
