50 most popular jazz vocal recordings of all time, as determined by the listeners of NPR Music, Jazz24.org and KPLU in Seattle. Check it out as I am sure you would be familiar with many.

My personal favourites are 1,5,7,9,10,12,19,20,24,28,29,40,45,48

Jazz Vocals

7,12,40,48 and 49 are all jousting for top spot in my list. Too many goodies there to pick from :D

How do you choose?

In no particular order 3,4,6,12,17,19,23,25,28,40,44,48.

Jazz not really my thing though looking at that list I may have misinterpreted the term 'jazz'.

Me likes Astrud Gilberto, Billie Holliday, Manhattan Transfer, Julie London & Ray Charles and, er, that's about it.

And wot? no Weather report? What about 'A remark you made'. Superb :)

Well there is jazz, that awful disjointed hurts your ears and mind jazz, an there is sweet sounding moorish jazz.
