I have a Photosmart 385. It is a nice little printer, and with the
optional battery is completely portable. When I was shopping I also
looked at the 475, which had more features including the option of
printing 5x7 prints and an internal hard drive to store the photos from
the cards. I rejected that one because at that time I had four cameras
that used smartmedia cards and the 475 does not support smartmedia.
My brother has the Epson Picturemate. I like the HP better because of its
relatively smaller size. Both make excellent prints.
HP has "Photo Value Pack" bundles that have paper and cartridges combined,
with a resulting cost per print of $0.29 or less depending on the pack.
