I have seen several 4x6 photo printers.
Epson HP and Lexmark
Is any of them worth the money
the 4x6 paper is 10 to 39 cents per page
how much does the ink cost?
Do you use one?
Thanks for any info.

I have a Photosmart 385. It is a nice little printer, and with the
optional battery is completely portable. When I was shopping I also
looked at the 475, which had more features including the option of
printing 5x7 prints and an internal hard drive to store the photos from
the cards. I rejected that one because at that time I had four cameras
that used smartmedia cards and the 475 does not support smartmedia.

My brother has the Epson Picturemate. I like the HP better because of
its relatively smaller size. Both make excellent prints.

HP has "Photo Value Pack" bundles that have paper and cartridges
combined, with a resulting cost per print of $0.29 or less depending on
the pack.

I would look at the Epson Picture Mate. You can get your cost per print
down to 21 cents depending on where you buy the print paks. It has an
optional battery so you can take the printer anywhere. Epson guarantees it
will be no more than 29 cents a print. If you get to the end of the ink and
still have paper left Epson will buy the paper back from you.

The prints will last at least 100 years. Waterproof, smudge proof.

Thanks Bob
