Hi all,

Trying to setup a DNS server behind a ISA server. At the moment I want to
set it up as a secondary zone and then once all is working transfer it to
the primary. This machine is not a DC. Every time the server starts I get a
414 Error.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Since you didn't post the error message associated with Error 414, I assume this is the error regarding single label host name on the DNS server. This
basically means that the DNS server doesn't have a primary DNS suffix. To configure a primary DNS suffix, open the properties of My Computer. Go to the
Network Identification tab and click the properties button. Click More and in the Primary DNS suffix section, add the DNS suffix for this server. If this machine is
a DC, you will not be able to change the DNS suffix via the GUI. You will need to call our technicall support for a script that will change this.

Thank you,
