40tude Dialog - HTML?

If anyone here is familiar with 40tude Dialog (a NG/email program
similar to Agent) can you please tell me whether clicking on html
messages which are then shown in the message body pane creates a risk
similar to that created by the preview pane in Outlook Express? I know
that html can contain malicious code that can sometimes be run when
clicking on emails, but I don't understand it well enough to work out
whether there's a risk to using Dialog. I've not yet been able to find
out whether it's possible to turn HTML off in the program.

Many thanks for any help.

I should point out that I've been told that it doesn't "execute any
kind of scripts, malicious code or download pictures (.gif
bugs)". I've also been told that it's "a very basic HTML renderer",
and that it shows exlamation points in place of pictures that were
intended to be d/loaded upon opening the message. This may well make
it safe, but I prefer to ask here as this is the place I've always
come for authoritative AV advice. I was worried because I clicked on
an email soon after installing the program and the message came up in
colour, and (I thought) with some sort of picture.

Advice v. gratefully recieved.

Clicking a link in 40tude opens the browser, with all the security risks
that ensue.....

Hi,

Thanks for answering, but I'm not planning to click on links. In Agent
I just delete HMTL mail unread, and that's what I'd like to continue
to do if I move email programmes. I'm asking the question, though,
because I'm concerned about what might happen in Dialog if the cursor
just happens to fall on an HTML email I've just d/loaded. I'm
wondering whether malicious code might be run that way?

Thanks,

Nothing will happen unless you click it....
