I have a Windows 2003 Server network with XP and 200 clients running behind a
simple lan setup. Recently, we have begun to experience 403 Forbidden errors
when accessing sites on the internet. This happens to XP and 2000 machines
with the most current patches. Usually we have the client refresh the
browser and wait a few minutes then the page is accessible.
1. The pages we are trying to access are not secure pages.
2. Virus, Worm, Trojans and/or Spyware removal is up to date.
3. Latest patches are on the machine
4. Occurs with XP and 2K machines running IE 6.0 and higher.
