4.6.07 Update Disables Video

I accepted a security update to my XP OS on 4/6/07. When I rebooted the
machine the machine went through normal diagnostics and showed the XP Windows
starup screen but then the video goes black!!! Has anyone else seen this
problem / what is the solution? I can't fix what I can't see! A understand
from a regional ISP, there have been very many reports of this problem.

I am running a Pentium II, 400 Mhz.

Help.

Try applying this patch:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935448/

If that doesn't work, you'll need to come back and tell us the number of
the update you installed. Look in Add/Remove Programs and tick the "Show
Updates" box.
