I'm having trouble making various 3D shapes in the new 2007 Powerpoint.
Previously, I was able to make cones or pyramids by modifying the perspective
(to infinity) and rotating the shape. This was a kluge, but it worked. Now,
all I find are button and glowing shapes. Where did this perspective feature
go, or is there somewhere else I should be looking for this kind of 3d shape
effect?

Drawing Tools Format | Shape Effects | 3D Rotation. Choose one there, then
tweak by going to Drawing Tools Format | Shape Effects | 3D Rotation
Options. On the 3D Format tab in that dialog, you can change the depth and
bevels, and on the 3D Rotation tab, you can change the angle of rotation.
