Hello

I am currently using in the following machine:

Windows NT 4 SP3

128MB of memory

30GB of disk storage

When I install my 3 Com 3C509B-TPO NIC card in my computer (ISA)

The computer boots up successfully. The downside is the mouse and keyboard
is locked. If I take out the NIC the machine boots up just fine. Keyboard
and mouse works.

I don't have any vacant PCI slots. I am forced to use an ISA slot. (SHOOT!)

Any ideas as to how I would fix the problem?

Thanks!!!!!!!!

i hope you mean that you had to buy an ISA nic. go into BIOS pressing
F2, or DEL or what ever key it is, during boot time, there should be a
section for RESERVING IRQs, find out what IRQ your NIC uses and
reserve it. then reboot.

good luck, let us know, --Lehi
