3360x1050 Support

Matt

I have been searching for this answer to no avail. I just got a couple
1680x1050 monitors. I would like to set them to horizontal stretch at
3360x1050 resolution. In CCC I can only set the resolution to
2560x1024. I am using a 1950xt Pro. The only answers I have found so
far are that ATI doesn't support it but these posts were ~2006. Has
ATI begun supporting 3360x1050 yet or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for any help

I think it should work with that card because i am currently using doing it
on the much older ATI Radeon Mobility 9600 in my 2 1/2 year old laptop with
no problems.

What you are looking to do is extending your desktop to the second monitor.
I believe this is different than specifying 3360x1050. The X1950XT or
X1950Pro should have no problems doing this; it is in fact a common setup.
Ensure you have the correct INF file installed for both of your monitors,
especially if the they are not identical models.

Be sure to use the latest Catalyst drivers, not the ones included on the CD.

Worst case is that you'll need to install Hydravision software:
