32Gb RAM = 8Gb! How to see full RAM?

Dear MS Community

I've made changes to the boot.ini on a Win2k Adv SP4 server but still can't see the full 32Gb of RAM. What have I overlooked

Windows 2k Advanced server only supports 8 gig of RAM.

Windows 2k Datacenter supports up to 32 gig of RAM.
