At PC World, believe it or not, both instore and online.

I noticed it when I popped into local branch on way home a while ago.

It's a Maxtor 320Gb with USB2 interface, case and PSU.

Here's a link: A Link

I was tempted to get one but am actually ok for hard disk space atm.

Hmmmm tempted as I need a new hard drive... decisions, decisions! I'll check out prices on the internal ones and then have a think :)

Thanks for the heads up Flops :D

Just for a comparison, about a month ago I bought a Samsung 320Gb SATA II internal drive from Overclockers.co.uk and it came to £73.00 inc postage.

So internal drive storage definitely cheaper, but for the convenience of external storage, prices are usually quite a bit higher.

cool
sounds good

how is the samsung?

I love samsung for harddrives

Blimey I have got one of them - bought recently and I paid lots more than that! It's a great little hard drive, no complaints at all.

Love

Gabz xx

That's a PATA drive, the disk I purchased was SATA II.

Still a fair price though at £49.34 plus postage.

That's an 'Iomega' drive, now come on, who's heard of them?

For a few quid more you can buy a drive from a manufacturer who's recognised as one of the leading players.

Nice try Chelsea, and good info too if you want to go the cheapo cheapo unknown manufacturer route, but myself, I'll stick to manufacturer's you can at least half way trust.
