You have the 32-bit edition. The 64-bit edition requires special
hardware, and very few home users have it.

So if I have the Pro version is should still be the 32-bit.

Thanks Fay

Not necessarily.

If you have a $3300 dollar PC with an Intel Itanium II processor in it from
someone like HP see http://www.hp.com/workstations/itanium then you would
have Windows XP 64-bit Edition Version 2003.
You can see this is you look at the General tab on the Properties of My
Computer.

Hi Fay,

Undoubtedly you have the 32 bit version. The only 64 bit Windows is Server
2003 and if you had shelled out the cash for that and the hardeware you'd
know it... You only get 64bit on purpose! :)

So if I have the Pro version is should still be the 32-bit.

Thanks Fay

Having 64-bit windows is like owning a Ferrari. You don't need to ask if
you have. You know. Mainly because of teh ridiculous amount of money you
spent to get it.

32 it is. Thanks. Fay

It is most likely 32 bit, but follow the link provided below for more
