I have windows xp home edition installed, and I need to know if anyone can
tell me where/ how to find out if my system is a 32-bit or 64-bit,ASAP, please

Chances are if you are asking the system is 32bit. Check your pc specs to
see if Device Mgr shows 64bit.
This would usually be under the CPU tab.

There is no such thing as a 64-bit version of WinXP Home, so....

Three points:

1. With very rare rare exceptions, anybody who has to ask is running the
32-bit version.

2. Right-click My Computer and choose Properties. Unless it says 64-bit
there, you are running the 32-bit version.

3. You are definitely running the 32-bit version, since only XP
Professional, not Home, comes in a 64-bit version.
